A simple plan to get back into training when you've fallen off.
No punishment. No overhaul. Just start moving again.

The problem is what usually happens next.
You miss a few workouts.
Then you tell yourself:
"I'll start properly next Monday."
Monday comes. You decide you need a new program, six workouts, more cardio and a complete lifestyle overhaul.
It lasts a few days. Then you stop again.
The answer isn't to come back harder. The answer is to make restarting easier.
For the next 7 days, your only goal is to rebuild momentum.
You don't need to punish yourself for the workouts you've missed.
You don't need six gym sessions this week.
You don't need to train until you're exhausted.
For the next seven days:
We're rebuilding the habit first. Everything else can come later.
Here's what the next seven days look like. Simple. Practical. Doable.
20–30 min of movement. Break the pattern.
Block 3 times in your calendar this week.
Manageable weights. Controlled technique.
Walk or move — keep the chain going.
Complete workout two. Don't chase soreness.
20–30 min easy movement. Stay in the rhythm.
Schedule your next 3 workouts now.
Let's go deeper on each day.
Do 20–30 minutes of movement. If the gym feels like too much, go for a walk. The goal is to break the pattern of doing nothing.
✓ TODAY'S WIN: I started.
Choose 3 realistic training times for the next seven days. Treat them like appointments. If training has no place in your calendar, everything else will take its place.
Complete your first proper workout. Use manageable weights. Keep your technique controlled. Finish feeling like you could have done a little more. The goal is to want to come back.
Today doesn't need to be a hard workout. Go for a walk. Move your body. Stay connected to the routine you're rebuilding. Keep the chain going.
Complete workout number two. Don't chase soreness. Don't add random exercises. Just train. Finish what you planned. Leave.
✓ Two sessions done. You're already doing it.
Do 20–30 minutes of easy movement. Walk. Stretch. Move. Nothing heroic. Rebuild the feeling that movement is part of your normal week.
Before today finishes, open your calendar. Schedule your next 3 workouts. Don't wait until Monday morning. Decide now.
Don't suddenly double everything next week. Keep the same simple structure.
Consistency first. Optimisation second.
Most people already know they should exercise.
The hard part is building a structure that actually fits around work, family, travel and real life.
That's exactly what I help people with inside Method Coaching.
